Reliability
Identity processes change over the longer term. Nevertheless, in the short term, much of a person's processes remain substantially the same. Research investigations demonstrate robust reliability of ISA assessments (Northover, 1988; McCarney, 1992; Irvine, 1995; Saunderson, 1995), when additionally, specific features that change over a longer periods are evident.
