What does ipseus measure?
ipseus assesses an individual's underlying psychological processes and identity development. Specifically, the Identity Analysis metatheoretical framework explores processes of identifications and involvement with the Other.
The resulting data produced by the instrument shows empathetic and conflicted identification with the Other as well as identity diffusion under specified contexts. Researchers can gain insight into the study sample on their attributions, values and belief considered to be core, and well as issues that might be seen as 'stressful' and can see how beliefs and values change over time.
